About the role
Calvary Central Districts are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced Registered/Enrolled Nurse, the perioperative department is looking to recruit Casual/Part Time and Full-time positions across multiple area. We are looking for dynamic, driven nurses with passion, who focused in providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment.
Scrub / Scout Nurses for multiple specialties: Orthopaedic, General, Gynae, ENT, Endoscopy, Plastics, Urology and Ophthalmology.
Flexible rostering and request system.

Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate peri-operative nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team, so as to achieve goals and positive health outcomes.
Take an active role in the coordination of nursing and health care ensuring they practice independently and interdependently, assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions, and where applicable, delegation and care.
What you bring
A minimum of 1 year experience Perioperative Nursing
Current AHPRA Registration
Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation
