Permanent part time position, 28 hours per week
Remuneration: $56.69 per hour to $58.52 per hour
About the role
This permanent part-time position is available from 1 July 2025. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing in-depth levels of clinical expertise and extensive specialised knowledge within Palliative Care in order to provide high quality Occupational Therapy care to clients of the Palliative Care Service consistent with Calvary Health Care Kogarah and South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) policies, procedures and standards.
What you bring:
Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Professionals (State) Award, current registration with AHPRA and commitment to own ongoing professional development
Extensive post graduate clinical experience in Palliative Care or transferrable skills
Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, throughout all organisational levels
Demonstrated ability to provide high level clinical advice, education, and support to others in providing service excellence
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with situations of a novel, complex or critical nature
Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives, service evaluation processes
Current unrestricted NSW Class C drivers' licence or equivalent, and a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position
Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah.
