THE ROLE:

Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team is a cohesive, high specialised group of professionals from diverse backgrounds dedicated to providing excellent care in a supportive and collaborative environment. 

We are seeking skilled and compassionate ICU nurses to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, exceptional clinical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. They will have excellent communication skills and the ability to plan and deliver high quality patient care to critically ill patients. 

DUTIES:

• Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill patients, monitoring and assessing vital signs, administering complex medications and managing complex medical equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised patient care plans. 
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training to stay current with best practices in critical care nursing.

ABOUT YOU:

• Registered Nurse authorised to practise by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Recent demonstrated experience in an acute care facility and recent experience in Intensive Care.
• Demonstrated communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
• Able to work proficiently in periods of high demand and activity.
• Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development.
