About the role
The Workforce Planning Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient and consistent rostering practices across all business streams. You will provide essential support to managers and administrative staff in a variety of tasks related to rostering. As a Roster Support Officer, you will be responsible for a specific allocation of services.
Your main duties will include:
Roster Administration & Compliance: Support roster management in Kronos, ensuring compliance with Enterprise Agreement and budgeted changes.
Scheduling Implementation: Collaborate with the team to implement advanced scheduling across all business streams.
Training: Provide consistent training on Kronos, rostering systems, Enterprise Agreement requirements, and best practices.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse and interpret rostering data to ensure accuracy, compliance with ANACC (Aged Care), and budgetary requirements.
Issue Resolution: Address and resolve rostering issues promptly, working efficiently with stakeholders.
Workforce Planning & Coordination: Review workforce data for compliance, manage casual workforce patterns, and coordinate leave and permanent vacancies.
About you
Relevant Qualifications in ICT, HR, Business, or a related field.
Familiarity with Kronos or similar rostering applications and experience in staff rostering or workforce planning.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite with high attention to detail.
Understanding of workforce metrics and analytics.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Experience in healthcare is a plus
Ability to travel as required to facilitate training
