About the role
Based in Wagga Wagga, NSW, we are looking for a clinical staff member to assist with pre operative sterile set ups and post operative decontamination and collation of instruments. This would suit somebody looking for a full time/ part time position on a temporary six months contract. There is a possibility of a permanent position for the right applicant.
Your main duties will include:
Preparation of sterile set ups according to the surgeon's preference cards.
Checking and decontamination of surgical instruments immediately post op.
Packing, transporting and organising transfer of instruments and equipment.
About you
Hard working, honest and reliable
Experience as a perioperative nurse or CSSD technician
Ability to work independently, whilst also being able to collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Relevant qualifications and right to work in australia.
