About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic CSSD Manager to join our team in Launceston. The CSSD manager is a key position within the Procedural Areas team providing support to the CSSD staff, working alongside the clinical team to provide safe and efficient care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development of a team based environment while providing leadership and support to the CSSD team, working in partnership with the Procedural areas and Ward areas.
  • Ensure standards, guidelines and legislative requirements are met with governance from assurance practice.

What you bring

• Formal qualifications in sterilisation

• Demonstrated significant understanding of Safe Work Practices

• Australian Standards, Guidelines, legislative requirements and risk management principles as they relate to CSSD 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and experience in liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders 

• Demonstrated experience in data analysis and in providing reports for senior executives 

• Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in a organised manner during periods of high demand and activity

• A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
