Located between beautiful mountains and the sea, Calvary The Brelsford provides care for 101 residents and includes a memory support area. The home is well known in the community for the amazing care provided thanks to our wonderful team who work together to provide high quality care in this home-like environment.

About the role

The position of Cleaner is an essential part of our integrated team united by our common goal to deliver excellent care, every day!

As part of our domestic services team you will have a crucial role in providing domestic services for our residents.

Key responsibilities

  • Routine and project cleaning tasks according to established cleaning schedules.
    Cleaning tasks include mopping and vacuuming floors, carpet cleaning, damp dusting, cobweb removal, window cleaning, waste management, restocking of supplies, collection of soiled linen and clothing as required
  • Completion of cleaning tasks according to infection control and occupational health and safety requirements including the safe storage and use of cleaning chemicals
  • Recording of the completion of cleaning schedule tasks

About you

  • Experience in cleaning tasks such as; mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, damp dusting, window and high cleaning
  • A strong attention to detail
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others
