About the role

 

Our Data, Insights and Analytics team is based across Sydney and Melbourne and we work in a hybrid office. This is a full time role in our development team which oversees all aspects of data warehouse and dashboard reporting and you will work with analysts and engineers. We are a team of 4, we work closely with the business to develop great data assets and our work has been recognised in aged care as industry leading.

 

Your main duties will include:

  • Manage the end-to-end data environment, ensuring the security and quality of all data assets through routine lifecycle management and delivery practices.
  • Develop new data assets, including but not limited to: regulatory extracts, automated reporting, PowerBI dashboards and modifications to the data warehouse.
  • Maintain the data warehouse (DW), ensuring its performance and ability to meet the future needs of the business.

 

About you

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field or demonstrated extensive experience in data analytics and BI.
  • Hands on experience in analytics tools SQL, SAS etc. and Reporting tools PowerBI, Tableau etc with strong knowledge of Power BI (including DAX) and report development.
  • Strong team collaboration skills, with the ability to partner with others to effectively develop and deliver new data assets and effective data governance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in cloud BI and warehousing, including Power BI in the cloud, AWS, Snowflake or other modern warehouse platforms.
