In this role, you will be responsible for updating Solv Injury with payment details and using the system to claim reimbursements from insurers, ensuring accurate and timely processing. You will also support managers by advising on the appropriate leave types and pay codes to enter into Kronos, particularly for employees who are unfit to work, on restricted duties, or when no suitable duties are available.

This position requires a strong focus on providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and accuracy.

As a key member of our team, you'll work in alignment with Calvary's philosophy, mission, and vision, embodying our core values of healing, hospitality, stewardship, and respect in everything you do.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Calculate and enter Pre-Injury Average Weekly Earnings (PIAWE/AWE) for new claims into Solv Injury.
  • Record injured workers' hours and earnings in Solv Injury and process weekly compensation payments in Chris21.
  • Save relevant workers compensation documentation as per electronic file procedures.
  • Claim and track weekly compensation reimbursements from insurers within Solv Injury.
  • Run fortnightly and monthly reports from Solv Injury for the finance team and insurers regarding outstanding reimbursements.
  • Support Payroll Officers and Service Centre/Admin staff with payroll processing and respond to queries from management and employees.
  • Ensure payroll administration is efficient, effective, and responsive to staff and management needs.

About you

  • Previous experience in a similar position, with essential experience using Chris21.
