Pastoral Care Practitioner – Calvary Lower Plenty Gardens
As the Practitioner you will have a unique opportunity to help shape the provision of spiritual care of residents, families and staff, ensuring their diverse spiritual needs are identified and responded to with exceptional sensitivity, compassion, knowledge and skill.
About the role
As part of our holistic care of residents, the Pastoral Care Practitioner is responsible for the provision of spiritual care and emotional support at Calvary Lower Plenty Garden home in Lower Plenty.
The Practitioner offers support to those in the Home on a regular basis as well as during significant events and life transitions. As a member of the home leadership team, the Practitioner collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, contributing assessments and reviews of the spiritual needs of each resident.
The role is paid under the Award - MA- Pastoral Carer L2 PP1 – PP4 (Health Professional 2). Hourly rate ranges between $36.35 - $40.66, excluding super and salary packaging benefits.
