About the role

Our Perioperative Services consists of a large and diverse multidisciplinary team, with flexible Monday to Saturday working hours and extensive professional development opportunities on offer.  

As a Scrub/Scout Nurse, you have an important role to provide the highest standards of care to our patients throughout their perioperative journey and be involved in the daily planning and smooth running of theatre lists.

Calvary North Adelaide private hospital has seven operating theatres and three procedure rooms.

What you bring 

• Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Minimum 12 months post graduate nursing experience.
• Recent demonstrated experience in a perioperative role.
• Demonstrated understanding of quality improvement and accreditation standards
• High level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive and constructive relationships
• Proven ability to work autonomously and in a multidisciplinary team with the ability to manage priorities and a busy workload
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development and education
• Demonstrated understanding for infection control principles
