About the role
Are you a Registered Midwife with minimum 12 months experience?
We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join our fabulous midwifery team within the Maternity Services at Calvary North Adelaide Hospital.
Our model of care has a focus on midwives operating at their full scope of practice; you will deliver high quality care across the continuum of midwifery to women, babies and families. We specialise in high-risk obstetrics and offer antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal, special care nursery, clinics, home visiting and education to more than 1100 women and families each year.

Calvary North Adelaide offers both low and high-risk obstetrics including options of vaginal twins and breech births, high BMI and complex care needs with 24 hour ICU and Intensivist support from 32 weeks gestation.
Excellent onsite midwifery education and are committed to ongoing skills training and clinical education.

What you bring
Minimum 12 months experience as a Registered Midwife
AHPRA Registration
Demonstrated recent clinical experience across the continuum of midwifery
Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
Ability to work a 7 day rotating roster including early, late and night shifts (night duty only negotiable)
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
