About you
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment.
The Critical Care Unit is an 11 bed combined ICU, HDU, CCU with a key focus on Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery and Interventional Cardiology.
The CCU has a full time Clinical Nurse Educator who is available to provide supported learning to all staff, regardless of experience. Family friendly and supportive team environment dedicated to provision of best practice and outcomes for patients and families, along with a positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Provision of high standards of care to all patients
Work as part of a multi disciplinary team
Ability to work within a fast paced, changing environment
Ability to escalate care of deteriorating patients

What you bring
AHPRA Registration
Demonstrated 2 years clinical experience in an acute hospital setting, ICU/HDU experience a bonus
Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
