About you
The Neurosurgical and Cardio-Thoracic ward is a 22 bed unit. It has a supportive team environment with the opportunity to learn and develop acute care skills in two complex specialities. The ward has a clinical nurse facilitator based on the unit and a strong senior team to offer ongoing support and mentoring. The team culture is based on Calvary values and provides a welcoming, inclusive environment to ensure clinical outcomes for our patients are the main focus.
Key Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment.
What you bring
Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience
AHPRA Registration
Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
