About you
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment. Provide key information about the role. Looking for an experienced Level 1 Registered Nurse for our vibrant and friendly 24 bed elective Orthopaedic/surgical ward. Full time or Part time position available. This position is a rotating roster, including morning, evening, night duty, weekends and public holiday shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Demonstrated knowledge and application of skills for Orthopaedic/surgical patients.
Practice according to, the organisation's mission, vision and values.
Practice to the highest professional standard as guided by the relevant professional body.
Proven commitment to quality care with compassion and a non-judgemental attitude.
What you bring
Current Orthopaedic/surgical skills and knowledge.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including demonstrated experience in liaising with a wide range of internal and external clients/Stakeholders.
AHPRA Registration
Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
