Registered Nurse - Level 1, Rehab Unit at St Johns

Permanent positions available including permanent night duty at St Johns - Tasmania's largest Private Health Rehabilitation Unit.

  • Pay rate is dependent on Enterprise Agreement and experience - $38.77 - $49.49 per hour + super
Your main duties will include:
  • Deliver a patient and family-centred rehabilitative nursing approach to our patients
  • Competent clinical assessment, consultation, liaison and care provision along a continuum of care.
  • A strong commitment to health care & professional standards, customer service and risk management

About You:

  • Registration with AHPRA and in possession of a current practicing certificate
  • Demonstration of maintenance of CPD points
  • Maintains mandatory competencies as directed by CHCT
  • 12 months experience in a similar role – hospital/aged care
  • Previous Rehab experience - essential 
  • Demonstrated clinical competence in area of specialty
  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of rehabilitation nursing practices
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to build relationships with all stakeholders
  • Decision making and delegation skills
