About the role

As a Support Worker - catering, your role will be to assist a diverse range of Aged Care Residents by assisting the cook meet their nutritional needs. 

  • St Martin De Porres is located in Waratah, close to train and bus transport.
  • Newcastle is a thriving town with some of the worlds best beaches close by.
  • St Martin De Porres provides care and services to 41 Older people

Key Responsibilities

  • General kitchen hand duties apply
  • Support the cook with meal service
  • ensuring a clean environment and work space

About you

  • Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
  • Proficiency in use of technology such as smart  phones, email and internet
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
