About the role
As a Treasury Officer, you will play a pivotal role in managing our treasury and tax operations. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and processing treasury payments. Collaborating closely with the Senior Treasury and Tax Accountant, you'll support month-end reporting, vendor setups, and system administration. Your contributions will help enhance our financial processes, improve operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Some of your main duties will include:
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of all bank accounts, promptly identifying discrepancies.
Maintain daily cash positions and update weekly cash flow forecasts, considering aged Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Accurately process treasury payments and streamline payment processes in collaboration with the Senior Treasury and Tax Accountant.
Manage transactional banking requests and maintain a comprehensive register of banking operations.
Update and maintain a master file for taxes and duties, assisting with accurate tax filings and BAS preparation.
Conduct monthly reconciliations of key nominal accounts and collaborate to resolve variances.
Support the implementation of the ANZ Transaction Banking project and assist in troubleshooting.
Manage vendor setup requests and provide system support and user training for financial management tools.
About you
Detail-oriented with strong numerical and analytical skills for managing reconciliations and forecasting.
Proficient in financial systems and eager to learn new software.
Excellent communicator and collaborator, ensuring effective stakeholder management.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in treasury and tax tasks.
Self-starter with excellent problem-solving abilities, and ability to work well under minimal supervision.
