We are looking for a Workplace Relations Specialist to cover a Parental Leave absence on a full-time basis.

This role would suit an Employment Relations/Industrial Relations/Workplace Relations Advisor who has worked for an advice service (in person or telephone based) for at least one year; or a P&C/HR Business Partner with at least two years’ with generalist experience who is looking to grow their skills in this specialist field.

If you're looking to grow your Workplace Relations experience in enterprise agreement negotiations, industrial advice, and complex case management (including gaining experience leading Fair Work Commission conciliations) then this will be a great opportunity for the right motivated candidate.

We operate on a hybrid working model with Offices based in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide for those days you're in the office.

Your main duties will include:

• Supporting and/or Leading Enterprise Agreement negotiations.
• Providing industrial relations advice on our enterprise agreements and Fair Work legislation.
• Supporting our P&C Business Partners with case management.

About you

• You will be passionate about all aspects of Workplace Relations/Employment Relations/Industrial Relations.
• At least 1 years’ dedicated ER/IR/WR advice (such as a telephone advice service) or at least 2 years’ generalist HR/P&C Business Partner experience.
• Demonstrated experience in reading, interpreting and applying Fair Work Instruments such as Modern Awards and/or Enterprise Agreements.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply Australian employment-related laws (Fair Work Act, Long Service Leave Acts).
• Demonstrated experience using MS Excel to conduct audits and analysis of payroll and other employment data at an intermediate level.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a particular focus on a customer service approach.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Strong MS Office skills (MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel).
• Ability to build relationships and persuade internal and external stakeholders.
• An inquisitive mind, and a self-starting personality.
