I’ve attached a temporary version for my reference for now.
About us
Celebrating 140 Years of Calvary: Join a Legacy of Compassionate Care
In 2025, Calvary proudly celebrates 140 years of compassionate service. Since the arrival of six Sisters of the Little Company of Mary in Australia in 1885, our story has been one of faith, courage, and care for those in need.
These pioneering Sisters cared for the sick, the dying, and the poor not only with clinical skill, but with deep empathy and respect for human dignity. Their spirit continues to live on in everything we do today. Though our people come from diverse backgrounds, the mission begun by the Sisters still inspires and guides us.
Working at Calvary means more than having a job. It means joining a team that:
• Builds meaningful connections with patients, residents, and families
• Embraces the diversity of the communities we serve
• Lives the values of compassion, dignity, and respect every day
• Continues to grow with purpose, guided by our mission
As we celebrate this milestone, we look to the future with the same spirit of service and compassion that began in 1885. Join Calvary and make your career part of a legacy that builds a better tomorrow.
Our values and our mission
We bring the healing ministry of Jesus to those who are sick, dying and in need through “being for others”:
- in the Spirit of Mary standing by her Son on Calvary;
- through the provision of quality, responsive and compassionate health, community and aged care services;
- based on Gospel values; and
- in celebration of the rich heritage and story of the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary
Our Values are visible in how we act and treat each other. We are stewards of the rich heritage of care and compassion of the
Little Company of Mary. We are guided by our values of Hospitality, Healing, Stewardship and Respect.
Committed to greater diversity & inclusion
At Calvary, everyone is welcome. We value diversity and are committed to fostering a workplace that is respectful, welcoming and inclusive where people are supported to draw strengths from their identity, culture and community.
We value the integral dignity of each person and we encourage applications from First Nations peoples, people living with a disability, LGBT+ people, people who have come to Australia as migrants or refugees and veterans.

Reconciliation at Calvary
Calvary acknowledges the Traditional Custodians and Owners of the lands on which all our services operate. We recognise that these Custodians have walked upon and cared for these lands for thousands of years. We acknowledge the continued deep spiritual attachment and relationship of First Nations peoples to this country and commit ourselves to the ongoing journey of Reconciliation.
