About the Role

Join the team at Kelaston Residential Aged Care in Ballarat as a Café Operator. This is a Part-Time position offering weekday and occasional weekend shifts, perfect for someone passionate about food, customer service and creating a welcoming environment for residents, families and staff.

You’ll run the day-to-day café operations, providing friendly service and a quality café experience within a supportive, health-focused environment.

Your main duties will include:

• Operating the café including food prep, coffee making, and cleaning
• Providing excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and staff
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

What you bring:

• Current Food Handlers Certificate
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• High standards in food preparation
• Knowledge of food safety regulations
• Current Covid-19 vaccinations including booster are mandatory unless assessed exempt
