About the role
Calvary North Adelaide Hospital are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurses with a passion to work in Theatre, specialising in Orthopaedic
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate peri-operative nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team, so as to achieve goals and positive outcomes
- Take an active role in the coordination of nursing and health care ensuring they practice independently and interdependently, assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions, and where applicable, delegation of care
About you
- Recent and relevant acute pre, intra and post - operative surgical experience
- Current AHPRA registration
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
- A desired to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
- Ability to engage with all members of the health care team
- Problem solving skills and ability to manage change
- Accountability for delivering a high standard of care to all patients
