Temporary – Full-Time (12 months)
- Salary Classification: Administration Officer Level 3, Year 1 - 2
- Remuneration: $34.47 to $35.54 per hour l range + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options.
- Provides comprehensive administrative assistance to the MDT Chairpersons including timely and accurate request of pathology and radiological results, writing and circulation of meeting agendas, attending meetings, compiling meeting data, compile and distribute meeting recommendation letters as appropriate.
- Provide relief for other administrative staff as required and perform other duties appropriate at the level of responsibilities adhering to the Department’s requirements and work expectations.
- Excellent computer literacy including use of Medical Oncology ARIA data and patient management systems, Microsoft Office suite, scanning technology, use of Dictaphone and working knowledge of calendar management systems, email, internet and videoconference equipment including software.
- Demonstrate flexibility that meets the changing needs of the Department and work environment.
- Proven ability to work unsupervised and manage competing priorities
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills with demonstrated initiative
- Competence in administrative and general office procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience with hospital systems: ARIA, iPMS, CAP, Webpacs
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and / or experience in a healthcare office or patient administration environment
