- Salary Classification: Cardiac Technician Year 1-4
- Remuneration: $36.26 – $39.75 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options + RDO's
About the role
The Cardiology Department is co-located in the imaging department of the Calvary Mater Newcastle. As a valued member of the Calvary Mater Newcastle Cardiology team, you will perform ECG’s, pacemaker checks and exercise stress tests on both inpatients and outpatients using state-of-the-art ECG equipment. The position on offer is permanent full time.
Your main duties will include:
- Performing 12 lead ECG’s
- Performing Exercise Stress Tests
- Electronic processing of ECG’s
- Remote interrogation of Pacemakers
About you
- Proven ability to work independently, and as a member of a multidisciplinary team, and prioritise workload in an organised manner.
- Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a computerised environment.
