About the role
Are you a Registered Midwife with minimum 3 years experience?
We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join our fabulous midwifery team within the labour ward, postnatal and special care nursery at Calvary North Adelaide Hospital. Our model of care has a focus on midwives operating at their full scope of practice; you will deliver high quality care to your patient and families across both low risk and complex cases.

- We offer ongoing professional development and skills training, with an experienced midwifery educator located within the unit
- We have four labour rooms, 13 postnatal rooms and can accommodate up to six babies in our Level 5 Special Care nursery.
- Calvary North Adelaide offers both low and high-risk obstetrics including options of vaginal twins and breech births, high BMI and complex care needs with 24 hour ICU and Intensivist support from 32 weeks gestation.

What you bring
- Minimum 12 months experience as a Registered Midwife
- AHPRA Registration
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
- Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
