About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team at the Cardiac Centre, Lenah Valley. This is a part-time, fixed-term position (0.2 FTE), working 15 hours per fortnight on Thursdays. The successful candidate will provide safe, effective, and patient-centred care in a specialised cardiac environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high standard of customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Provide high-quality cardiac testing services within the Cardiac Centre
- Support practice cardiologists with clinical and administrative tasks
- Participate in OH&S and manual handling training
- Maintain compliance with all mandatory training requirements
What You Bring
- Proven ability to provide high-level customer service
- Knowledge and experience in ECG interpretation
- Previous experience in coronary care or cardiology (highly valued)
- Current AHPRA registration with a practising certificate
- Recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
- Ability to work independently and manage high-demand periods effectively
- Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
- A desire to contribute to a mission-based organisation focused on the care of others
