About the role
An exciting hospital based role, working predominantly within our Inpatient Rehabilitation ward with flexibility to move across Acute, Outpatient and Community settings. The successful applicant will provide Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions as part of a multi-disciplinary team, assisting patients to achieve health outcomes within a newly established state-of-the-art healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload.
- Participate in the multi-disciplinary management of patients throughout their healthcare journey.
- Contribute to developing and implementing quality and service improvement activities.
- Participate in professional development and education of colleagues, including providing supervision to allied health assistants or students
- Some weekend work required
What you bring
- Minimum two years of relevant clinical experience
- Full practicing AHPRA registration
- Experience in Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions incorporating evidence-based practice and patient-centred care
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant disease, conditions and hospital presentations.
- High quality communication and organisation skills.
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation.
- Current drivers’ license is preferable.
