The Handyperson is responsible for providing both preventative and reactive maintenance of the Hospital to ensure a safe and well maintained working environment. This position is full time, 76 hours per fortnight and involves being on call every 3 weeks for a week at a time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support service delivery under the direction of Management
• Assist in the timely repair and maintenance of hospital plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings.
• Liaise with others in the department and contractors, perform facility inductions, ensure all WHS documentation and procedures are followed.
• Undertake routine corrective maintenance and/or notify the external provider if required to undertake repairs.
• Be Part of an on-call roster

What you bring

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Self-motivated, ability to work autonomously and within a team
• Drivers licence Class 
• Experience and Education/Certification is desired
