- Remuneration: $36.45 to $37.29 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options.
- Full time role Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
We are seeking a motivated and organised individual to join our Radiation Oncology team as a Personal Assistant supporting our Staff Specialists.
This role would suit someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Your responsibilities will include diary and inbox management, preparing correspondence, meeting minutes and agendas, scheduling appointments and liaising with patients and healthcare providers.
- Provide comprehensive administrative assistance including; triaging telephone calls, patient and staff enquiries, collection and distribution of mail, preparing correspondence and documentation, filing, maintain calendars and email for other staff, arranging meetings, agendas and minutes, sending emails, arranging catering, preparation of presentations and conference material, journal searches, and other administrative duties as directed.
- Scheduling and rescheduling of patient appointments in accordance with Radiation Oncology business rules and clinical staff availability.
- Preparation and distribution of patient referrals and other relevant medical documentation and records.
- Ensure confidentiality and appropriate levels of discretion is maintained at all times.
- Provide relief for other administrative staff as required and perform other duties appropriate at the level of responsibilities adhering to the Departments requirements and work expectations.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of administrative support services, including the ability to take minutes and format complex business documents.
- Ability to work unsupervised and demonstrated record of self-directed work practices.
- Ability to work flexibly, organise and prioritise a diverse workload, work proficiently in periods of high demand and activity and execute duties with attention to detail.
- Demonstrates communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively with other staff.
Desirable Criteria:
- A working knowledge of medical typing and/or terminology.
