About you
The neurosurgical and cardio-thoracic ward is a twenty-two bed ward specialising in neuro and cardiothoracic surgery. The unit has a supportive team environment with the opportunity for individuals to grow their acute care skills in two complex specialities. There is a strong leadership team to offer ongoing support and mentoring. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment with a focus on ensuring patient centred care and the delivery of positive patient outcomes is our priority. As the Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment.
What you bring
AHPRA Registration
Demonstrated recent clinical surgical nursing experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
