  • Salary Classification: Administration Officer Level 2, Year 1 - 2
  • Remuneration: $32.30 to $33.37 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options.
 
ABOUT THE ROLE
 
The Administration Officer will be a part of the Surgical Services team in Ward 4B. This position is responsible for provide administration and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the surgical ward, enabling clinical staff; including nurses, doctors, and surgeons, to focus on delivering patient care.
 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide consistent, high quality customer service as a person of first contact including, telephone, email enquiries and personal contact with clients.
  • Establish and contribute to strong positive working relationships with staff at all levels of the organisation to achieve outcomes.
  • Implement and maintain a well-organised, up to date filing system in accordance with established methods in order to meet privacy and confidentiality obligations.
  • Ensure a high degree of accuracy in the completion, recording and filing of all paperwork related to the tasks of the role.

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and organise work activities to achieve work outcomes
  • Demonstrated attention to detail with a very high level of accuracy when working with a range of computer systems and processes
  • Demonstrated listening, and questioning skills applied to a customer service environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member to achieve quality service outcomes.
