About you
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment. Rehabilitation Services is a 43-bed unit with a consistently high occupancy rate. As a Registered Level 1 Nurse, we require individuals who are committed to playing an integral role within the multidisciplinary team and to their own professional development for the benefit of our patients. We offer a supportive and educational environment for Registered Nurses who wish to be involved in a holistic team approach with our patients and families. We will also support you in developing a wide range of clinical skills required to work in a rehabilitation unit, including leadership and ward management skills. Currently, we have full-time and part-time permanent positions available for Registered Nurses who are keen to learn and grow their careers.

Key responsibilities

  • A patient and family-centred approach to care delivery using highly developed interpersonal skills and professionalism
  • Competency in clinical assessment, consultation, liaison and care provision across a continuum of care
  • A strong commitment to customer service and risk management
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and quality improvement
  • Willingness to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation

What you bring

  • Registered Nurse with a minimum of 12 months’ experience
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Recent clinical experience in an acute care, aged care or hospital setting
  • Ability to work unsupervised, efficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation
