- Remuneration: $40.34 - $51.09 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options
About the role
- Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development.
- Timely, complete and accurate documentation of nursing care and patient’s progress is entered onto the ICU Flowchart, the patient’s medical record and communicated to other team members.
- Accurately and comprehensively handover nursing care of critically ill patients to nursing colleagues on the following shift.
- Communicate effectively with the Nursing Unit Manager and ICU In Charge Nurse.
- Ensures the ICU In Charge Nurse and ICU Staff Specialist/SRMO are aware of all/any changes in clinical condition in ICU patients, including clinical deterioration or improvement.
- Participate in the Medical rounds to ensure communication of patient needs/changes and changes to treatment.

- Registered Nurse authorised to practise by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated recent experience in Intensive Care
- Demonstrated communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development
