Be a part of the Graduate Nurse Coordinator team looking after our Theatre Nurses
About you
The Graduate Nurse Program Coordinator leads and supports the organisation in actively providing a well-structured Graduate Nurse Program for Registered and Enrolled Nurses in the Theatre environment. The position is responsible for identifying and managing learning opportunities as well as providing support for Graduate nurses.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitation perioperative education to all areas - Anaesthetics, PACU, scrub and scout
Facilitate study days to assist with Graduate Nurses' learning
Collaborate with the Theatre Educator to manage training opportunities
Ability to develop relationships with all areas of Theatre to support and educate new staff
What you bring:
AHPRA Registration
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent
Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting in Theatre
Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
