About the role
Calvary Adelaide Hospital is seeking a dietitian to fill a 12 month 0.4 FTE contract role that will support growth and demand within the multi-disciplinary allied health team. Casual position also available. The position offers an opportunity to provide support across a range of hospital specialties including general medicine, cardiorespiratory, orthopaedic, general surgery, neurosurgery, and rehabilitation.
Your main duties will include:
- Managing a diverse caseload using evidence based guidelines to deliver patient centred dietetic services in accordance with professional and ethical standards
- Actively participating in a multidisciplinary team, and
- Contributing to planning, service development and quality activities as guided by the senior dietitians.
About you:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
- Eligibility to hold the Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) credential
- Minimum two years clinical dietetics experience
- High standard of clinical and professional practice using evidence based practice
- Ability to work well within a team
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to effectively manage a clinical caseload
- Ability to participate in regular weekend and public holiday service, and
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
