About Calvary Healthcare Bethlehem and SPNDS
We’re looking for a skilled and proactive administration professional with exceptional communication skills and a sharp eye for detail to join our dynamic team supporting the Statewide Progressive Neurological Disease Service (SPNDS). SPNDS is based at Calvary Health Care Bethlehem—a publicly funded, not-for-profit hospital in Melbourne’s Southern Metropolitan region—offers a unique opportunity to work in a purpose-driven environment.
SPNDS provides multidisciplinary assessment, education, and management through a centre-based outpatient clinic, supporting people with complex progressive neurological conditions such as Huntington ’s Disease, Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Parkinson’s Disease, and more.
Our focus is to enhance the quality of life for patients and families affected by progressive neurological diseases by delivering holistic care that meets physical, psychosocial, and disability support needs.

Enjoy flexibility in your role! This position offers 16 hours per week with the opportunity to increase hours occasionally to provide leave cover.
Key Responsibilities
- Triaging incoming phone calls.
- Greeting patients and visitors.
- Booking appointments.
- Supporting multidisciplinary team meetings and other members in the administration team and multidisciplinary teams.

• Warm, friendly, mature communication skills.
• Experience in administration or reception roles.
