About you:
We have a number of opportunities for experienced After Hours Coordinators to join Calvary Health Care Bethlehem in a casual role.
The After Hours Coordinator is responsible for the safe management of the Kooyong Precinct after hours including the role of Chief Warden. This casual role will provide cover for planned and unplanned leave. You would be available to work a variety of shifts including weekday pm shifts commencing 16:00 and night duty shifts, with the ability to work at short notice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Acts as the contact person for Hospital Executive after hours
• Models behaviours that promote leadership within the nursing division through communication and visibility
• Ensure nursing practice is within legislation
• Adheres to hospital policies and procedures
• Demonstrated understanding of risk management processes and systems, and their relationship to safe quality patient care and organisational outcomes
What you bring:
• Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 5 years post graduate experience
• Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
• Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
• A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
• Availability as a casual to provide cover for planned and unplanned leave
