About the role
The Hospital Coordinator acts as the key contact for hospital executive after hours, supporting and promoting excellence in clinical practice and enhanced clinical outcomes. Responsible for coordinating hospital and staff activities in an effective and efficient manner after hours, the Hospital Coordinator oversees all clinical areas and ensures the smooth running of operations within budget parameters for work hours per patient day.
What you bring
- Registered with AHPRA and in possession of a current practising certificate.
- Demonstrated understanding of risk management processes and systems and their relationship to safe quality patient care and organisational outcomes.
- Demonstrated day to day management, organisational and leadership skills.
- Relevant Post Grad qualifications in or willingness to undertake qualification.
- Proven high degree of communication skills, written and verbal.
- Advanced Life Support qualification
- Attainment of Calvary's Chief Fire Warden Training qualification and annual re-certification as directed
- Understanding of financial and human resource management in the private sector advantageous
- Ability to work unsupervised proficiently and in an organise manner during periods of high demand and activity
