Assistant in Nursing -Medical Unit 

0.7 FTE (6 hours per day)

About the Role 

Supporting our Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses, you will help deliver safe, person-Centered care in the Medical Unit by:

• Assisting with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, meal assist, transfers and escorts)
• Collecting and reporting patient data to the RN/EN and family as required
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe ward environment (bed-making, linen and laundry assistance)

About You 

• Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration
• One of the following:
• Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (HLT 33115) or equivalent
• Second-year Bachelor of Nursing student (completed first clinical placement) 
• First-year Enrolled Nursing Student (completed first clinical placement)
• A compassionate team-player with strong communication and organisational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting
