About the role
This role is a permanent part-time role with opportunity to increase hours through casual shifts and leave cover. The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for supporting withdrawal and post withdrawal care planning including transitioning clients into the residential program. You will support clients in the Residential program with medication administration and care planning. You will provide a high standard of client care, recognising and acting in accordance with the Mission and Values of Calvary Riverina Hospital.
Your main duties will include:
- Intake and admission to unit
- Assessment and care planning
- Risk identification
- Escalating of care when required
About you
- Enrolled Nurse Certificate/ Diploma
- Current AHPRA registration
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated competence as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Knowledge, understanding and demonstration of trauma informed care.
- Willingness to attend further education to support care provision in the alcohol and other drug sector.
- Immunisation status up to date.
