About the role
Your main duties will include:
- Accepting and providing clinical handover for patients transferring between clinical areas and Perioperative Services
- Providing reassurance and preparedness for patients and their families preoperatively
- Preparing and caring for patients in preparation for theatre.
About you
- Registered with AHPRA
- Bachelor of Nursing Degree or Diploma in Nursing
- 2-3 years experience as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse
- Experience working in Surgical Services
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
