About the role
 
This is a casual nursing support role at one of Australia’s largest private health hospital in South Australia, designed for those who want flexible shifts with experience across a variety of clinical settings. Calvary Adelaide has 344 inpatient beds, 23 state of the art operating theatres and Adelaide's only 24/7 private Emergency Department.
 
Your main duties will include:

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses, including assistance with personal hygiene, mobility, meals and activities of daily living

  • Observe, document and report changes in a patient’s condition to the nursing team to support safe and effective care

  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable ward environment while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

About you

  • Currently a 2nd year of a Bachelor of Nursing student

  • Current AHPRA student registration

  • Availability to pick up regular casual shifts (minimum 2 a month)

  • Willingness to work night duty is desirable
