About the Role
Join Calvary Lenah Valley as a Cath Lab Manager (Registered Nurse Level 3) and take on a leadership position managing our Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory and Day Angiography Suite. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Peri-Operative Services Manager. The role combines clinical expertise with operational management, overseeing the coordination of acute and elective cardiac procedures in a modern healthcare facility.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic environment delivering advanced cardiac care including catheterisation, angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), and device implantation procedures.

Your Main Duties Will Include:

  • Lead clinical excellence and patient safety in the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory with advanced cardiac skills and procedural expertise
  • Manage team operations, rostering, and budgets to ensure adequate staffing and resource allocation
  • Develop and mentor nursing staff through performance appraisal and professional development opportunities
  • Implement quality and safety standards including compliance, radiation safety, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholder relationships to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiencies across the department

About you

  • Experienced Cath Lab Manager with advanced clinical skills in cardiac catheterisation, angiography, PCI, device implantation, and haemodynamic monitoring.
  • Competent in scrub, scout, and circulating roles, with a strong understanding of radiation safety, sterile technique, emergency response, and complex procedural workflows.
  • Adept at leading multidisciplinary teams, managing daily lab operations, coordinating acute and elective caseloads, and ensuring high standards of patient safety and clinical quality.
