About the role

Great opportunity for an experienced educator to join our dedicated and supportive education team.

Working full time, your time will be spent educating staff across our Aged Care and Home Care streams. You will develop and deliver ongoing training and education to ensure safe, high-quality care is provided to our consumers.

This position is based at our Adelaide office, with flexible working arrangements and Work from Home options available for the right candidate.


Your main duties will include:

  • Developing and delivering workshops, training programs, and activities that support person-centered care, meet service delivery requirements, and promote skill and capability development.
  • Ensuring that educational and other strategies are based on clinical evidence and best practices, and are aligned with the agreed workforce development KPIs. This will be achieved by establishing educational partnerships with key internal personnel at Calvary and external stakeholders, including managers, clinicians, education staff, suppliers, and relevant professional organizations.
  • Providing assistance with the design, development, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of education related to clinical practice and clinical care at Calvary services, as requested.
  • Being responsible for the credentialing of Support Workers as required and completing the necessary documentation following training.
 
 
About you
 
  • Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and evaluate clinical education.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, along with high level ICT skills.
  • Unrestricted drivers licence.
  • Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 OR TAE 40122).
