About the role
 
The Clinical Facilitator will work within a team of Clinical Facilitators as a member of the Learning and Development team. The position is a part time position, working 1 day per week for an 8 shift. The successful applicant will need to work on Wednesday or Thursday between the office hours of 7am to 6pm. 
 
 
Your main duties will include:
  • Actively organising the Undergraduate Health Science Students in designated areas. 
  • Providing necessary learning opportunities for Undergraduate and Masters Clinical Nursing Students using a variety of teaching strategies in collaboration with the Learning & Development Manager and the Clinical Departmental Managers.
  • Responsible for the orientation, facilitation, supervision and formal evaluation of students performance. 

About You

  • Registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Experience in facilitating the learning needs of Health Science/Nursing students on clinical placements across various clinical areas.
  • Minimum of 3 years postgraduate clinical experience in health care.
