About the Role
- The Theatre Clinical Manager is responsible for the operational management and leadership of scrub scout nursing staff across 7 operating theatres.
- They ensure the provision of high-quality patient and family centred care and nursing excellence at a unit level.
Key responsibilities
- Promote quality customer service and excellence in patient care.
- Accountability for appropriate development and implementation of clinical standards of care and services delivered within the operating theatres, by developing and maintaining standards for care and practice.
- Accepting responsibility for effective control of the quality of services provided to patients.Utilisation of effective team building techniques to mentor, support and promote harmonious staff relationships within the operating theatres.
What you bring
- AHPRA Registration
- Demonstrated ability to provide high level leadership including operational processes relevant to perioperative service provision.
- The ability to demonstrate a good knowledge base in labour management.
- Extensive perioperative experience.
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation
- A commitment to a high standard of clinical and customer focused care.
