About the role
 
The Clinical Neuropsychologist provides and coordinates an effective, high quality clinical neuropsychological service to community dwelling patients in the Georges River and Bayside local government areas. 
 
Your main duties will include:
  • Neuropsychological assessments for people over 65years or disorders related to aging
  • Psychoeducation
Selection Criteria: 
  • Minimum two year full-time (or part-time equivalent) APAC-accredited Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Neuropsychology and current full registration with AHPRA as a psychologist with endorsement in clinical neuropsychology (or working towards same),
  • Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge of neurological diseases of older persons, clients with impaired capacity and knowledge of legislation applicable to individuals with such impairments
  • Experience in the neuropsychological assessment of older adults, interpretation of psychometric data and provision of neuropsychological assessment reports
  • Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills, organisational skills and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team as well as independently
  • Demonstrated computer literacy with ability to learn new systems easily
  • Current unencumbered Class C Drivers Licence
  • Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah
