Clinical Neuropsychologist (Grade 2, permanent part-time, 20-24 hrs/week)
 
The Neuropsychology Department at Calvary Health Care Bethlehem is seeking a passionate Neuropsychologist to join our dynamic and committed psychology team for 3 days a week.
We are a tertiary provider of specialist care in progressive neurology across the state of Victoria. Our team works within a neuropalliative rehabilitation framework and aims to provide best practice assessment and holistic care for patients with a range of progressive neurological diseases (e.g. Motor Neurone Disease and Huntington’s disease) and their families, across the disease trajectory.
The psychology department comprises a skilled and supportive team of Clinical Psychologists and Neuropsychologists that work within a large multidisciplinary team. We provide services across inpatient, outpatient and NDIS services, and are also significant contributors to research, with clinical research initiatives and collaborations highly valued by the organisation. About the role
Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to extend your clinical expertise within a highly supportive, collaborative, and multidisciplinary environment, working alongside a specialist team dedicated to serving those impacted by rare neurodegenerative diseases.
As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner within our NDIS neuropsychology team, you will deliver high-quality, rights-based PBS services that drive meaningful, life-changing outcomes for participants and their families. Your role will encompass comprehensive functional behaviour assessments, the development and implementation of behaviour support plans, and the provision of complex neuropsychological intervention — all underpinned by evidence-informed, ethical practice. You will build genuine relationships with participants and their support networks, collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges, and contribute to education, training, and quality improvement initiatives.

Selection Criteria
• Essential: AHPRA Registered Psychologist with Specialist Endorsement in Neuropsychology (or working toward Endorsement)
• Essential: Eligibility to meet the NDIS Capability Requirements for registration as a NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner
• Essential: Current Victorian drivers licence
• Desirable: Experience in neuropsychological interventions and positive behaviour support
• Desirable: Experience in working with clients with complex disability or progressive neurological conditions
