As an ICU Clinical Nurse Educator you will:

coordinate and actively participate in the delivery of education and training within ICU, this includes informal one-on-one training, in-service sessions, mentoring of new staff, clinical competency assessment.
facilitation of Intensive Care rotation of the new graduate RN program, Transition to Specialty Practice as well as providing support to new staff to the department.
participate in research/quality improvement to develop nursing knowledge.

Employment details

Positions available: Permanent Full-time

Salary Classification: Clinical Nurse Educator Year 1 - 2

Remuneration: $52.18 to $57.11 per hour + super + annual leave loading

INCENTIVE: UP TO $2,000 RELOCATION INCENTIVE BY NEGOTIATION

Selection criteria (Essential)

Registered Nurse authorised to practise by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with recent extensive post-registration experience in Intensive Care.
Relevant Post Graduate qualifications and current Workplace Assessment and Training Cert IV or willingness to work towards same.
Current Advanced Life Support Certification.
Demonstrated experience in clinical teaching, education and training.
Demonstrated leadership, communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Pre-employment conditions:

Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or hold a visa with unlimited rights to work in Australia.
Successfully complete pre-employment checks. Checks include: reference checks, work rights, criminal history check and WWCC.
Provide evidence of immunisation as required for the role.
