Calvary Adelaide Hospital is seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse to join our Perioperative ENT team. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role within a specialised surgical and acute care environment, supporting high-quality patient outcomes and clinical excellence.
Working closely with the Clinical Manager and multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical leadership, mentorship and support to nursing staff while ensuring best practice standards are upheld across the ward. You will play a key role in fostering a collaborative and patient-focused culture within the unit.

Calvary Adelaide Hospital is South Australia’s newest and largest private hospital, featuring 23 Operating Theatres and Procedural Rooms, 324 inpatient rooms, 20 ICU beds, a 24-hour Emergency Department and rehabilitation services.
- Support the growing service of ENT by providing leadership and education to our staff
- Procurement of consumables and equipment as required
- Support the VMOs in providing care to the patients
- Work alongside and support the Clinical Manager of Neuro, ENT and Oral Surgery

You will provide advanced skills and knowledge to support staff and surgeons in the smooth running of lists with a focus on patient safety and best outcomes. The ability to provide ongoing education to junior staff is essential to ensure success in this role. You enjoy working with a group of nurses who provide a great service, care for your patients and look to improve our service and patient outcomes. you will work in accordance with the mission and vision of Calvary and actively participate in a culture that promotes Calvary’s values.
- AHPRA Registration
- Demonstrated skills and knowledge with ENT surgeries
- Sound understanding of clinical standards, including upholding ACORN standards and local policies & procedures
- Accountable for own standards of practice and providing support & ongoing education to junior staff
